Why this site exists
Getting a home charger is simple once you know the rules, but the information is scattered: grants change every April, tariffs change every few weeks, installers price extras differently, and the best charger depends on your car, your tariff and whether you have solar panels. We bring it together in one place, with the numbers checked against the original sources and dated.
